1. About these Terms
These Terms govern access to bemarried.in and the BeMarried mobile app (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by MR Industry, a sole proprietorship registered at 369, Ghari Mundo Ki Tapriya, Opp. Gupta Petrol Pump, Jagadhri, Yamunanagar, Haryana 135003, India (GSTIN: 06FXUPM5416C1Z9). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the linked Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, legally capable of entering into a contract, and responsible for complying with applicable Indian marriage, personal-law, consent and family-law requirements. You must provide accurate information and may create a family-managed profile only for an adult candidate with that candidate's knowledge and consent.
3. Account responsibility
Keep login credentials and OTPs confidential. You are responsible for activity performed through your account except where caused by BeMarried's breach or applicable law provides otherwise.
4. Profile information and user content
Do not submit false, misleading, illegal, defamatory, obscene, hateful, harassing, discriminatory, non-consensual, scraped, infringing or unauthorised content. Do not upload content that violates child safety rules, privacy rights, intellectual-property rights, the Information Technology Act, 2000, the IT Rules, 2021, or any other applicable law. Important information should be independently verified before major decisions.
5. Verification
Photo verification uses an automated facial-similarity check against your primary profile photo; ambiguous results are reviewed by a human moderator before a badge is granted or denied. Badges confirm only the specific check shown. Verification reduces certain risks but is not a guarantee of character, compatibility, financial status, background or marriage outcome.
6. Interest and contact sharing
Accepting an interest opens private in-app chat. It does not reveal phone or email. Contact details unlock only after a separate contact-access request is sent inside chat and approved by the recipient. Acceptance is not a marriage commitment or BeMarried endorsement.
7. Messaging
Members with an accepted interest may message through in-app chat. Messages are scanned for phone numbers and email addresses, which are blocked until the separate contact-sharing request has been approved. Chat is a convenience feature for connected members, not a general-purpose messaging product.
8. Family-managed profiles
The account holder must disclose their relationship to the adult candidate and may manage the profile only with the candidate's knowledge and consent.
9. Prohibited conduct
Fraud, money requests, harassment, threats, hate, impersonation, underage profiles, scraping, data resale, spam, malware, bypassing controls, fake identity documents, non-consensual intimate content and repeated unwanted contact are prohibited. Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, and sexual solicitation involving minors are strictly prohibited and may be reported to law enforcement where legally required - see our Child Safety Standards on the Safety page.
10. Plans, boosts and payments
Starter, Connect and Premium are 30-day user plans with the limits shown on the Pricing page. Android purchases are completed through Google Play; BeMarried does not collect card, UPI or banking details on this website. Google Play shows the final amount, taxes and available purchase controls before payment. Boosts and paid plans do not guarantee views, acceptance, contact sharing, meetings, marriage or any other outcome. BeMarried does not charge a success fee to normal users.
11. Safety and offline interactions
Users are responsible for independent checks and safe offline interactions. BeMarried is not a party to marriage or personal arrangements between users.
12. Content licence
You retain ownership of the profile information, photos and messages you submit. You grant BeMarried a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to host, store, display, process and moderate that content solely to operate, secure and improve the Service, and only to the audience your privacy settings allow. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to backup, legal and safety-record retention described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Moderation, suspension and legal cooperation
Accounts or content may be restricted, removed, labelled, preserved or escalated for safety, legal, fraud, verification, payment, consent or policy reasons, subject to applicable notice, grievance and appeal processes. We may cooperate with valid court orders, government directions, law-enforcement requests and statutory obligations under Indian law.
14. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. BeMarried does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, the accuracy of user-submitted information, or any particular outcome from using the Service. To the extent permitted by applicable Indian law, BeMarried's aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant plan in the preceding 3 months. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian consumer protection law, or limits your statutory rights.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer-forum jurisdiction and any non-excludable statutory remedy available to you, competent courts having jurisdiction over MR Industry's registered office in Haryana, India shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from your use of the Service.
